vintage tablecloth skirt

I used to be three vintage tablecloths.

This A-line skirt is made from three separate vintage embroidered tablecloths, brought together into one piece. One half is pleated, the other gathered which allows a quiet contrast that gives the skirt movement, texture, and a slightly unexpected balance.

The skirt closes with an invisible zipper at the centre back for a clean finish. Each tablecloth was chosen for its embroidery and softness, allowing the original details to remain visible in the final garment.

Designed to feel special but wearable, this piece holds onto its past while stepping into something new.
